Moving with the times

My how times change. Who would believe that in 20 years something that symbolised our modern lives so much would die so quickly. I'd doubt back then we'd picture ourselves conversing via text message or online communities. There was a time when I thought chat rooms were only frequented by weirdos and Americans (apologies to our cousins across the water, including those of mine in DC). My last facebook message to my friend Phil sums it up:

Hi Phil,

Sorry new to this facebook ting. Forced to sign up as like Myspace, people keep telling me too. You know, heard a radio programme yesterday about a guy who did a soundscape of his old answer machine messages over 20 years. I loved those days. My number was 442100, can you believe it!? And I loved those little red LED digits telling me someone loves me. :-) Now its text, dropped calls, or Myspace or whatever. What's happened to us man!!!???

Searched for you on MySpace ages ago but couldn't find you. I'll hit you up.

Peace

But I think flim maker Mark Craig goes one better in new film Talk to Me. Here's the official site.
